Personal Training for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
It’s about exercise, movement, strengthening, balance, body connection, and stretching. And of course, feeling better afterwards.
My creative approach to working with people living with dementia includes the use of dumbbells, bands, ankle weights, balls, and more.
I’ve found that dynamic engagement, interaction, and conversation are just as important as the exercise we do during a session, so the goal is not just to challenge the physical body, it is also to make it fun, rewarding, and something that is looked forward to!
Specifics needs vary greatly, so let’s discuss what would benefit your loved one best. If it’s something I can help with, we’ll arrange a free assessment session and go from there.
An hour session is $180-$220.00 depending on location.
